Great lift, rear subframe bolts not long enough

Posted by Justin Wong on Apr 21st 2025

I purchased this lift kit back in November, due to it being a newly launched product, it took a while to ship. I got the order in mid February. According to my mechanics that helped me install this lift kit, everything went smoothly with the exception of the rear subframe spacers. The bolts provided for the spacers were too short and replacement bolts had to be sourced for installation. An alignment was performed after the installation, but unfortunately my front wheels have a minor positive camber situation going on, resulting in the steering not automatically returning to center after being in full lock. Besides those 2 points, I am very satisfied with this lift kit. Yes, my ride feels more stiff now, but thats expected of a lift kit. The clearance gained has made going on trails much easier, and of course, the Cayenne looks more mean sitting higher. If the bolt issue is addressed, this is a highly recommended purchase for any steel spring Cayenne owner looking for a 3in. lift. ** Rennline Edit - This kit does come with two shorter subframe bolts, they should be installed in the rear of the front subframe. We are wondering if there was a mix up during the install process?
